Engineer of the Year Election

The election for the 2013 Engineer of the Year will be Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 5:30 pm at the PECO Energy Company Main Office, 2301 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA, in Energy Hall (lower level).

Each professional and technical society in the Delaware Valley (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties in Pennsylvania and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer and Salem counties in Southern New Jersey) is entitled to appoint delegates and alternates to the election.

The number of delegates allowed is based on the count of organization members as follows:

1501 to 2500 4
2501 to 35005
3501 to 45006
4501 to 55007
5501 to 65008

Alternates (in a number equal to the number of delegates) may be designated to represent the society in the event the delegate(s) cannot attend.

A delegate must be a member of the organization he/she is representing. The delegate’s names should be submitted by an officer of the organization by the published deadline.

All former Engineers of the Year are entitled to vote at the election.

To participate in the election, an officer of the society should submit the delegates to the Engineers’ Club at reservations@engrclub.org by Friday, November 9, 2011
