| BIO: Richard Agard has been a technical instructor for over twenty years. Besides his teaching at the Engineers Club of Philadelphia, he also teaches at Penn State Abington, The Thompson Institute in Philadelphia and at Septa’s Light Rail Training Center in Upper Darby. He was formerly head of the Electronics Department at the Philadelphia Wireless Technical Institute where he developed Pennsylvania’s first ETA certified fiber optic training program. He was a communications system Technician at Septa for over eighteen years where he has worked with Fiber Optics since the early 1990’s. Recently he has been active with the development of a new Photovoltaic Installer’s Certification and he was chairman of the mathematics and formula committee for the new FCC Exam. | |||

| BIO: Mr. Beggarly has 42 years experience in the mechanical design field. Scope of experience includes development and supervision of Piping, Mechanical Systems and HVAC systems. He was an outfitting design supervisor for Bethlehem Steel's shipbuilding “Central Technical Division” in Baltimore, MD from 1967 to 1989. He then worked for Technical Research and Development Co. and its Parent JJH, Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ from 1989 to 1994. He spent a year in Singapore supervising piping and mechanical design on conversion of a super tanker to a floating refinery. Since 1995, he has been employed by John Lehman Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering in Philadelphia, PA, with short stints with Zimmer Corp. in Columbia, MD; NDI Inc of Thorofare, NJ; and Ang Associates in Philadelphia, PA. He has taught the Heating and Ventilation course for The Engineers Club of Philadelphia since 2001. | |||

| BIO: Ronald C. Kerins, Jr. is a Regional Manager with GREYHAWK, an international construction management consulting firm. He is a Construction Professional with more than 24 years of experience in all phases of construction management from design though occupancy. Mr. Kerins’ expertise is in representing owners as a construction consultant in the areas of Project and Program Management, Value Engineering, Contracts and Administration, Cost Control, Scheduling, and Construction Claims. Mr. Kerins is a Certified Construction Manager [CCM] as conveyed by the Construction Management Certification Institute [CMCI]. He also serves as a director on the national board of CMAA. Mr. Kerins holds a BS in Architecture and a BS in Civil and Construction Engineering Technology from Temple University as well as an MBA with focus in Leadership Studies from Penn State University. | BIO: Daniel Shovlin is a Vice President and Managing Director with Faithful+Gould, managing the firm’s New Jersey/Pennsylvania operations and is registered as a Member Royal Institute for Chartered Surveyors, and a member of CMAA. He has a BS in Civil/Construction Engineering Technology form Temple University. Mr. Shovlin has worked in the construction industry for over 23 years with extensive experience in all phases of construction management, and particularly in construction cost consulting. His project experience includes numerous building types including manufacturing, retail, corporate, educational, pharmaceutical, and transportation. Specific areas of expertise include conceptual estimating, cost management, scheduling, project management, and coordination of design and construction teams. He has served as an expert cost witness in construction claims matters. Dan has led his team in evaluating the cost of the World Trade Center Reconstruction Master Plan and other relevant projects throughout the Atlantic region. | |||

| BIO: Nathan Tadlock is an Instrumentation Engineer, with twenty-five years experience in process control and instrumentation. He has conducted hands-on training sessions in the application, installation and design of microprocessor based controllers, recorders, PLCs and smart transmitters. Mr. Tadlock career also includes application and design engineering relating to power generation, pharmaceutical and petro chemical automation. He has also taught courses on the modes of control and process transmitters for the Philadelphia Section of the Instrument Society of America and for the Center for Professional Advancement. Mr. Tadlock studied physics and microprocessor design at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts. | |||
