Tour Information
The Engineers' Club arranges tours to facilities and sites in the Delaware Valley with a wide variety of technical features to stimulate your interest. They are geared to you, the technical professional. Unless noted on a specific tour, Club membership is not required. You will be impressed by the knowledge and friendliness of the hosts. They are there for you! Some tours have a maximum number of attendees; reservations will be on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the tour site. Payments are due upon date of registration.

Chester Soccer Stadium

The Club is co-sponsoring this tour with the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
Tour the brand new major league soccer stadium, home of the Philadelphia Union. Dinner will be provided.

Conshohocken Trash to Steam Plant

Tour this state of the art 20.9 acre waste to energy plant. This tour is limited to the first 20 Club members and guests to make reservations.
Cost: FREE
Directions: From I-476 (the Blue Route), go west on Ridge Avenue to Alan Woods Road. (If northbound on I-476, get off at Chemical Road, make a right at the end of the ramp, and then turn right onto Ridge Avenue). Using the jughandle on the far side of the intersection, turn left onto Alan Woods Road. Turn right onto Academy Drive. The plant office will be on the right immediately after a 90 degree bend to the right.

Jenkins Arboretum

Schuylkill River Boat Tour
The Boat will leave from the Walnut Street Pier

Tour the beautiful Schuylkill River on a guided sunset boat tour by the Schuylkill River Development Corporation. SRDC will be showing a free movie, Dave, at dusk, which should be shortly after the boat trip is over.
