The webinar discusses the requirements for municipalities to bid public contracts to procure material, equipment and services. Limitation on purchases, quotes, and bids, will be reviewed, as well as current exemptions from municipal bidding (including DGS/Co-Stars piggyback contracts). Requirement of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage will be discussed, including bidding thresholds which trigger Wage. Advertising and bond requirements are discussed. The webinar will include an electronic download of the Pennsylvania Purchasing Handbook.
