Join us for our first in-person event in more than a year!

We'll be meeting at the Pinnacle Trail Head (400 Reservoir Road, Hamburg PA) at 8:30 a.m. sharp onApril 10 (Rain date: April 24). The site is about an hour and a half from downtown Philadelphia, so plan accordingly.
The hike is approximately nine miles with moderate terrain (1,236 feet of elevation gain) and several scenic overlooks.
Plan to bring:
- water
- layers (it can get windy and chilly at the top)
- hiking shoes and related outdoors equipment
- lunch and snacks (we'll stop to eat at the Pinnacle overlook)
- and dogs! (though be considerate: if your pet is usually not friendly with other people and pets, please leave him or her at home)

Our trail guides will be Executive Board member and resident climbing boss Emma Nix, and her dog, Aidan.

Emma is a Senior Associate in the RTO Services group at Gabel Associates. She follows regulatory activity in the wholesale-electricity markets (with an emphasis on PJM matters) and is also part of the modeling team to estimate the impact of various market-rule changes on market outcomes. Emma has a background in economics and previously worked in the State Government Policy Group at PJM.

When Emma is not at work, she's generally outside with Aidan (a.k.a. Wolfdog).
