SMPS Philadelphia invites you to join us as we unveil our comprehensive strategic plan meant to guide the Chapter's direction from 2025 through 2028. This multi-phase process emphasizes member engagement, clear goal setting, and actionable strategies to enhance the Chapter's impact and sustainability. Below is a summary of all the great work we did over the past 6 months:
Strategic Planning Process
Assessment Survey
An electronic survey was distributed to both members and non-members engaged with SMPS Philadelphia events. The feedback collected serves as the foundation for the strategic planning effort.
Identification of Common Themes
On February 4, 2025, a virtual members-only session was held to review survey results and identify common themes. Key focus areas were established:
- Membership Engagement / Participation / Retention
- Pipeline of Leadership
- Programming Approach
- Enhancing the Brand / Membership Recruitment
In-Person Workshop
On March 26, 2025, an in-person, half-day workshop was conducted to review the identified themes, develop goal statements, define metrics, and outline strategies and tactics. The session concluded with the prioritization of key goals and strategies.
