Dear Faculty, Students, and Student Club Leaders,
We are excited to share a unique opportunity for students passionate about real-world engineering challenges! The American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) – New Jersey Sections is proud to present the 2nd Annual Student Competition, open to all active associate level and undergraduate level college students.
This competition offers a chance to engage with real Civil Engineering concepts and demonstrate your innovative thinking and technical abilities.
Competition Highlights:
- Mentorship Support: Work with experienced mentors and subject matter experts to guide your team.
- Real-World Challenge: Analyze an actual Civil Engineering Concept Development Report.
- Proposal Development: Create a Preliminary Engineering Technical Proposal that:
- Supports or challenges the existing analysis
- Introduces innovative improvements to the project
- Professional Presentation: Deliver an in-person presentation to industry professionals using visual aids such as presentation boards and/or PowerPoint.
This is a fantastic opportunity to:

- Letter of intent: Submittal: Friday September 12, 5 pm

- In-Person Interview: Saturday February 28, 9 am in Hamilton, NJ
