Join us for an insightful and engaging presentation on a key project from PennDOT District 6-0’s Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). This initiative focuses on making our roads safer by reimagining how intersections function, and roundabouts are leading the way.
Our presenters will take you behind the scenes of the Easton Road and New Britain/Sauerman Road roundabout project in Bucks County. You'll learn how these locations were carefully selected through in-depth safety analysis and why they stood out as prime candidates for roundabout implementation.
From early evaluations to final construction support, hear how the team navigated complex coordination with multiple stakeholders to bring these improvements to life – enhancing safety, improving traffic flow, and supporting future development.
The session will also explore the broader benefits of roundabouts and highlight innovative design elements unique to the Easton Road site.
