Mr. Nawn’s Ethics presentation will compare and discuss the code of ethics of various professional societies including NSPE, ASCE and ASHE and the NSPE Engineering Creed and Order of the Engineer Obligation. John will discuss the ethical practice of engineering as it relates to professional liability and the professional standard of care including legal ramifications.

Ms. Martsolf and Mr. Wright will focus on issues associated with work with public sector staff and clients, both as “normal” clients and in “embedded”/staff extension situations, issues that must be addressed to protect both the consultant and the client, key guidelines and how to prevent awkward situations or violations and ethical items that may arise in close working relationships with public sector clients.
