K-12 Outreach at
Mastery Charter School - Thomas Campus
Friday, April 24, 2026
Mastery Charter Thomas Campus is leading a professional development workshop for its 10th-grade students.
The event will feature two distinct sessions, and volunteers are welcome to join for the morning, the afternoon, or both. The morning session will focus on resume building, while the afternoon will transition into mock interviews. This session bridges the gap between the classroom and the workforce by introducing students to the fundamentals of resume construction and the art of professional communication.
Volunteers will work directly with students to help translate school projects and extracurricular activities into a professional format that resonates with recruiters. Through mock interviews, students will gain confidence in a supportive environment while hearing firsthand insights about the civil engineering industry.
Our goal is to provide these students with practical tools to successfully navigate future internship and career opportunities.
