Join us for a free, one-hour virtual webinar on August 13, 2026, where our presenters will cover DVRPC's regional travel demand model. Travel models are used to evaluate the impacts of proposed projects, programs, and policies on the region's transportation network. They use demographic, employment, land use, and survey data to forecast future travel behavior, highway volumes, and transit ridership. The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission uses its travel model to guide the development of its Long Range Plan, which serves as a blueprint for prioritizing federal transportation capital funding; evaluating individual highway and transit projects; and supporting environmental protection and economic development. Attendees will earn 1 Professional Development Hour (1 PDH).
