ULI Philly- ULI Philadelphia: Camp Hill Tour
Camp Hill Borough commissioned a ULI Technical Assistance Panel (TAP) in 2016 to seek expert guidance on revitalizing the downtown commercial district and planning for a walkable community. Following the TAP report recommendation by recommendation, the Borough is experiencing remarkable growth in retail and professional service businesses. The anchor for revitalization is Neighbors & Smith, a 40,000 SF mixed-use project in the downtown district. Smith Land & Improvement Corporation is redeveloping the entire block of 1801 Market Street and currently has a 100% small business tenant mix with a majority women-owned business.
Join us for a panel discussion at Little Black Dress, tour of Downtown Camp Hill sites, and closing happy hour to understand the positive impact of commercial real estate development on regional economies, the value of providing affordable space to small and women-owned business tenants, and the power of championing #ShopSmall. Richard E. Jordan III, President and CEO of Smith Land & Improvement Corporation will lead the panel followed by a tour Neighbors & Smith, and a wrap-up networking happy hour.
