Description:
Learn about the industry’s latest innovations for bridges and culverts that work for a wide variety of applications and capacities, spanning distances from five feet to 400 feet.Including plate, precast & truss bridge systems overview; precast design overview; soil-structure interaction analysis and design process; precast wingwalls and abutments; Pennsylvania applications; and PennDOT LRFD Standards (Change #2) Review.

Philip Creamer, PE- Director of Precast Bridge Design Services
Phil joined Contech in 1996. Phil has served in his current position since 2006. Prior to this position, Phil was the Area Engineer overseeing the West Coast territory and initially served as a design engineer and hydraulic engineer responsible for the research required to approve ConSpan in HEC-RAS. He has extensive experience using the finite element program CANDE, which is used to design CON/SPAN® and BEBO bridge systems. Phil is member of TRB Committee AFS40 – Subsurface Soil-Structure Interaction and a member of ASTM Committee C13. Phil received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a registered professional engineer in 30 states.
Bill Gray, Senior Bridge Consultant
Bill jointed Contech is 2001. Bill is responsible for managing structure projects in Eastern Pennsylvania, which includes PennDOT Districts 4-0, 5-0 & 6-0. Bill’s areas of expertise include solution development for modular bridge technologies including precast, plate and truss bridges and culverts and scour protection systems. Bill is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, where he received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to his current position with CONTECH, he has worked in consulting engineering and the construction industry.
