Legislation Impacting Engineers ‐ A Round Table Discussion

Returning to the origins of our Society, this round table discussion will provide
PSPE members an opportunity to provide ideas regarding the Pennsylvania
Society of Professional Engineers and input to our State Legislators.
The activity may be accepted for .5 Professional Development Hour in PA, NJ and other National Model states
where courses do not require pre‐approval. It is not acceptable for New York for continuing education credit.

The course will discuss how the Board helps guide Engineers to protect the public. Issues
relating to ethics and the civic obligations of professional engineers
The Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers, through PIE, will evaluates and approves this “courses” as meeting the
continuing education license requirements for 1.0 Professional Development Hour in New York State. PSPE believes the
“course” will be accepted for credit in PA, NJ and other National Model states where courses do not require pre‐approval.
