Directions
The Long-Range Plan (LRP) presents a vision for the region’s growth and development going out 20 or more years and strategies to get there. It provides the policy for the region to then prioritize transportation investments, meeting today’s needs while preparing for the future. The LRP is updated every four years so it reflects the region’s changing priorities, new trends, and ongoing public input.
Because public outreach is integral to the long-range planning process, DVRPC’s Public Participation Task Force will host the first visioning workshop for the 2050 plan. The workshop will include an introduction to the LRP and facilitated small group discussions, where participants will give input into the vision for the future while also providing feedback to the DVRPC project team on the workshop.
Children are also welcome to attend with their parents or guardians. Participants of all ages can share their visions for the future through a creative exercise!
Join us on 2/19 to converse, connect and collaborate on Connections 2050.
