CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR 2020 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD WINNERS
First Place – Olivia Oyola - $3,500.00
Olivia is a first year undergraduate student studying Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the United States Coast Guard Academy (USCGA). While maintaining her excellent GPA, and attending to her regular military duties, Olivia finds time to hold a starting position on the USCGA Lacrosse Team and to participate in the Academy’s ‘Investment Club’. Olivia’s ambition, drive and competitive spirit are exemplary and we expect she will make a valuable addition to both the US military and the construction management industry.
Second Place – Timothy Wheeler - $2,000.00
Timothy is a third year undergraduate student studying Civil Engineering with a minor in Structural Engineering at Penn State University (PSU). Timothy commands an impressive 4.0 major GPA and a 3.96 cumulative, while finding time to participate in numerous university clubs and sports, including: The ‘Circle K’ community service organization and the ‘Cru’ Christian Faith organization for university students. Timothy’s spirit of giving is an impressive reminder for us all to give back to those in need, however and whenever we can.
Third Place – Daniel Rex - $1,000.00
As winner of the 2019 CMAA scholarship, Daniel is no stranger to the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the CMAA. Daniel is a third year undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania College of Technology majoring in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration. Daniel is an active member of the Penn College Construction Management Association since 2017 and has held various internships in the construction and construction management industry over the past few years.
