Dear LTAP Users,
This webinar will discuss safety concepts and actions for along the side of your roads. The most common crash in Pennsylvania is run-off-road and hitting fixed objects—trees, poles, embankments, etc. The webinar will discuss methods to keep vehicles on the road through pavement markings, signs, and road surface improvements. Next, it will review what defines a roadside hazard, and the steps to remove them or lessen the chance of the hazard being hit. Lastly, the webinar will discuss guide rail as an asset for your roads, and how to inventory, assess, and evaluate the guide rail compared to current standards.
