This lecture will be an introduction to the fundamentals of Intellectual Property with focus on providing an overview of the four major categories of IP: Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, and Trade Secrets, their basic differences, strategic considerations for pursuing IP protection, and their role in building value for a business.
