This is an online event.

Dear Briana,

The ASCESouth JerseyBranchwould like to invite you to our next technical webinar meeting at 12:00 PM on Thursday September 29, 2022.

Topic:

Geosynthetic Solutions for Paved and Unpaved Roadways

The focus of this one-hour webinar will be how to overcome many of these roadway design challenges and maximize performance by incorporating geogrids into the design and construction of public roads. We will review common road design applications such as subgrade stabilization and pavement optimization while comparing potential solutions, design approaches, and construction procedures. These solutions will be demonstrated by reviewing a wide range of relevant local case studies on both paved and unpaved public roads. (A one hour PDH certificate will also be provided to all attendees.)

In this session we will discuss:

  • Increasing the performance of pavements without increasing cost
  • Avoiding interference with buried utilities
  • Overcoming soft subgrade issues
  • Optimizing pavement sections by reducing asphalt and aggregate thicknesses
  • Introducing InterAx - the latest geogrid technology from Tensar
  • Developing road designs using Tensar+ design software
