E-WEEK DINNER
DELCO PSPE's E-Week Dinner has been scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2023. The start time is 6:30 PM, and the event will be held at Anthony's Restaurant in Springfield, PA. The cost is $60, with Dinner options of Filet Mignon, Crab Cakes & Eggplant Parmesan. The Dinner will consist of a celebration of the Nationally Recognized Engineer's Week, and our Chapter's Engineer/Project of the Year.

ENGINEER & PROJECT OF THE YEAR
Please join us in congratulating the Engineer of the Year, Mr. Michael Ciocco, PE, SEO! As well as the 2023 Project of the Year, Wawa Train Station!
Mr. Ciocco has been a long-standing member of DELCO PSPE, as he began volunteering in 1997 after graduating from Villanova University. He has performed in a variety of functions on the DELCO PSPE Board, such as President, Vice President, Treasurer and Mathcounts Coordinator to name a few. He is currently employed by Catania Engineering Associates, Inc. in Milmont Park, PA, where he has worked in both the private and municipal sectors of civil engineering. In terms of Community Service, Mike has served as an Aston AA Girls Assistant Softball Coach and an Assistant Track Coach for St Francis de Sales in Aston. Additionally, he has served as a volunteer on the Aston Township Planning Commission, as well as the PA State Board for Certification of Sewage Enforcement Officers.
SEPTA's Wawa Train Station has been chosen as the Project of the Year. Many members of our organization are familiar with this project, as we previously toured the site in October. The Station first opened in August 2022, and marks the first extension of SEPTA's rail service since 1985. The project has restored more than 3.5 Miles of rail line to service a growing area of Delaware County, opening new opportunities for future transit-oriented development.
