Course Overview: 

This webinar will include information on several overlaps with other codes that will benefit electricians and help ensure compliance with areas in which they are involved. Educate yourself on the various codes and requirements related to your installation. Samples of overlap between codes related to electrical work include the IBC - smoke detectors, egress lighting, emergency systems,  IECC - lighting controls, lighting allowances and ICC A117.1 – provisions related to accessibility for persons with disabilities.

Applicable codes:  2018 International Building Code (IBC®), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC ®), 2018 International Residential Code (IRC®), 2018 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC®), ICC A117.1 -2009 Standard for Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities.
