The Electrical Association of Philadelphia
presents
Understanding the NEC
Friday, October 19, 2018
An excellent chance to learn how to navigate through the different chapters, articles, and sections of
the NEC. This is also a great refresher class for you if you haven't been in the NEC book recently.
About the Class: It is critical to your career to know how to read, interpret and use the National Electrical
Code. Are all definitions in Article 100? How do I use the Chapter Two tables to size the grounding electrode
conductors? What is a cable assembly? Can I install non-metallic sheathed cable in an EMT raceway? Where
are the ampacity adjustment rules? How do I read Table 310.15 (B)(16)? Want to become a motor expert?
We will review Article 430. How do Chapter 5, 6 and 7 modify the other Chapters? How relevant is Chapter 8?
Learn how to interpret and use all the technical information in Chapter 9 tables. All this and more will be
explained and clarified for the attendee.
Who Should Attend: Electrical contractors, project managers, job foremen, plant maintenance personnel,
engineers, architects, electricians and HVAC tradespeople. Join in on this class and get your questions
answered. Become a leader in the electrical field and in your career.
