This presentation will discuss rehabilitation of the 18 span Passyunk Avenue Drawbridge across the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia under a 3 year, $33.5 million dollar project. The work included reconditioning or replacement of the mechanical and electrical systems for the 218 ft., 4 leaf bascule span, as well as steel repairs, substructure repairs, and installation of a latex modified concrete overlay on the entire structure.
